contains upcoming events, happenings at the Library, and information on new materials. If you are not on the mailing

What a summer! We're we ever busy. We had 61 kids read 2,440 hours! The Library
gave out 51 movie tickets, 19 books, and oodles of prizes. 37 adults read 515 books over the summer as part of
the program. This is a new record for us. Check out our list of prize winners and donors. Thank you to everyone
who donated a prize. The generosity of our sponsors makes this an awesome program.
Thank you to the Fred & Harriett Taylor Foundation, the Keuka Area Fund, and Hammondsport Community Services
for grants that we have received this fall. These grants help pay for programming, large print and audio books,
wireless services, and other needs of the Library.
Our watercolor painting group continues to meet once a month on a Friday evening. Dates are posted in the Library.
If you would like to be on an email list and receive info about dates let me know. Don't let lack of supplies
stop you from joining us as we have paints, brushes, and paper you can use. This is an informal and fun evening.
Kathy Wheat is continuing to give her ever popular rubber stamping classes. Also coming up, Vikki Farley will
be teaching a scrapbooking class. And in December, Stephanie Mehlenbacher from Cornell Cooperative Extension will
be showing us how to make wreaths. Check at the Library for dates and details.
Also returning will be Movie Nights. Again these will be the last Sunday of the month, starting in January and
going through April. We are looking for suggestions of movies you would like to see. We are also looking for
suggestions for computer classes. If there is a particular class you want to see offered let me know.
As always, we have lots of new books and materials for you to check out. Please stop in and give us your input
on classes and movies you would like to see.
